Welcome to Max's Jewelers and Loan Company Inc.
Max's Jewelers and Loan Co. was established in 1933, when its founder, Max Beloff opened its doors to the public in its original location on East Main Street. Since that time, several generations of customers have taken advantage of the great bargains on brand name new and used merchandise and have been helped with cash loans when needed.
Max Beloff retired in 1979 and his son, Larry, purchased the business. Max's was relocated to its present location on North Fountain Ave where it has been able to provide better service and a much wider variety of merchandise from diamond and gold jewelry at low low prices to electronics, musical instruments and tools.
All of the merchandise on our sales floor goes through a process which includes a thorough inspection and cleaning so that all items are presented in a "like new" condition. We also offer a layaway program and credit.
Our jewelery displays feature diamonds which have been graded and appraised by an independent laboratory. They are discounted by approximately one-third of the "mall" prices. We offer a wide range of variety and prices so our customers can purchase quality diamonds at bargain prices. Also offered is jewelry repair and design through our highly accredited bench jeweler.
Max's prides itself in personal, friendly service and still today offers a wide choice of merchandise.
